The EASY-Estimate house flipping software has the flexibility to run
a quick estimate or a detailed estimate of a projects potential
profitability. The flip task expense entry screen allows the user
to enter 25 main expense categories. Main expense categories can be
broken down by task or by room / area. If you wish to enter
flipping expense detail, each main expense category can be broken
down into 25 sub expense categories. You can name your own flip sub
expense categories or use the outline provided by the EASY-Estimate
program. You can breakdown some main expense categories or just
enter a total for others on the main expense entry screen. Breaking
down main expense categories will increase the accuracy of your
flipping project estimate but will be more time consuming. If you
choose to breakdown some of your expenses or all of your main
expense categories, you can generate a detailed flip expense report
which lists all of the expense breakdown detail. Depending upon the
amount of expense detail you choose to enter, your expense breakdown
report might be only a couple of pages or 5 or 6 pages.
Note: Only expense items with dollar amounts greater
than zero will be listed on the report.
On the expense breakdown entry screen, you have the option of
entering the flipping expense item name, budgeted amount, actual
amount and a description. If you are in the beginning stages of
your project flip, you would just enter the budgeted expense
amounts. When your flipping project is complete, you can go back
into the program and enter actual costs.
